Growing up in Pebble Beach, left a lasting impression on Laura
Smith Blair. She always felt a connection to drawing and painting
as a young girl. She spent two summers at The Rhode Island School
of Design and studied art at the University of Callifornia at
San Diego. Once graduating from college, she returned to Carmel
and worked with the local artist and muralist, Dong Sun Kim.
Smith Blair painted many murals alongside Kim. Laura now lives
in Marin County California with her family. Having lived most
of her life now in these two beautiful areas has inspired Laura
to focus her subject matter on nature's beauty. Her road scenes
and landscapes are calming and serene.

Jines converts mud and other gooey substances into things funny.
He considers laughter a bonus or, as they say in his native
Louisiana Creole, "lagniappe." The little added element
of humor makes his ceramic cartoon creations "Four-Dimensional."
The philosophy is simple; "Goofy is Good, and Weird is
Worth it!" Jines pleads Contemporary Insanity and if you
don't laugh at his stuff, he'll have an art attack and destroy
it.

Suzannes work is cinematic; she engages the viewer to participate
in the story. As the work emerges, it reveals only enough of
an image to draw the viewer into the work, creating surprise
as paint wraps around the canvas profile. Missing details, lost
& found edges, allows the viewer to fill in their own ending.

Dick Crispo has exhibited internationally, earning 36 awards,
78 one-person shows, and is rzepresented in over 30 public collections.
Color and texture, with a strong background in drawing and composition,
are hallmarks of Dick’s work; but most of all, his creativity
and love of place come through, along with his sense of the
ironic, and these elements are what makes the viewer think —
not run.
